Industrial Revolution Era
The Industrial Revolution began in the eighteenth century in Britain. Britain wanted to keep people from sharing ideas about new machernery in America, but some of the British let out the secret. From around 1760 to 1870, the Industrial Revolution began in America. Instead of making things by hand, such as farming equiptment and clothing Americans started using the machines that Britain had, to make their necessities. This era marked numerous innovations and technological advancements for the United States. People were able to transport goods quicker, productions increased tremendously which led to economic growth. The revolution cause for four states to be made, Vermont, Kentucky (Western States), Tennessee, Ohio, and Missouri because of the Missouri Compromise. The Industrial Revolution was the start of a great life.
